This guide outlines the key steps for applying wallpaper rolls. Refer to it for instructions on how to install our custom-printed wall murals. Along with your wallpaper order, you’ll receive a detailed installation guide to assist you with the wallpaper application process.
Initial Preparation
Before installing wallpaper, ensure your wall is smooth and free of any debris. Remove any old, loose wallpaper, peeling or cracked paint, as well as nails and screws. Sand the surface and fill in any holes or cracks to create an even finish for the wallpaper.
The Non-Woven Mixture
A non-woven adhesive is used to apply the wallpapers. Each panel will come labeled and numbered for easy installation. It's important to unroll and inspect all the panels before beginning the installation process.
Begin Installation
Begin installing your wallpaper from the left side of the wall, moving steadily towards the right. Align each sheet precisely edge to edge without overlapping. Ensure the first strip is perfectly straight by using a spirit level or plumb line to guide you for an even and flawless installation.
Continue Installation
While applying the wallpaper, gently smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles using a soft, dry cloth or a smoothing tool. When adding the next strips, align the patterns or images perfectly without overlapping. Place each strip edge to edge and press firmly along the seams to ensure they blend seamlessly for a polished finish.
Repeat the process - Handle with Care
When applying the wallpaper, handle the paste with care. If any paste gets on the surface of the wallpaper, gently wipe it off with a clean cloth.
Trim the excess portions
Once you’ve applied the wallpaper, carefully trim any excess material along the ceiling and floor using a sharp utility knife or a tool from our installation kit. After finishing, ensure the room is well-ventilated and keep the temperature consistent for few hours to allow the wallpaper to set and dry properly.
